Save the Date: GEMI Spring Meeting

Please save the date of April 11-12, 2018 for GEMI’s Spring Meeting. The invitation-only meeting will be hosted by GEMI member Schlumberger at the Schlumberger Sugar Land Technology Center southwest of Houston in Sugar Land, Texas.

GEMI provides a forum for global corporate sustainability thought leaders to learn from each other and engage with strategic partners to advance collaborative solutions to emerging environmental and sustainability challenges. This meeting will include facilitated discussions regarding supply chain sustainability, the UN SDGs, circular economy and water risk assessment.

Agenda Outline

• April 11 (9AM – 5PM) – Day 1 – Workshop on Supply Chain Sustainability. The session is designed to enhance communication between buyers and suppliers to improve understanding of buyers’ sustainability expectations (why/how supplier data used) and awareness of suppliers’ experiences.
• April 11 (6PM): Informal Dinner for attendees in Sugar Land Town Square.
• April 12 (8AM – 11:30AM) – GEMI Meeting Day 2. Expert speaker and roundtable discussion regarding the UN SDGs, Circular Economy and water risk assessment.
